New macro methodology has yielded excess return at Erik Penser Bank

Over the past two years, Erik Penser Bank in Stockholm has built a new set of methods that have yielded higher returns than the competition, according to asset manager Jonas Thulin.

Swedish asset manager Erik Penser Bank has adopted a new approach to asset management since Jonas Thulin started his job at the bank in late 2017 with a mission to build a strong and competitive investment product.

Since the beginning of this year, asset managers at Erik Penser Bank have had maximum overweight in equities after being underweight in equities by the end of last year. According to Thulin, the company has seen a year to date excess return of around 3 percent compared to the competition average.
